When Miracles Don’t Come

In Sunday school yesterday, we talked about Jesus healing the woman who had been bleeding for many years and also raising Jairus' daughter from the dead. Nick also preached a sermon on this passage the Sunday before Hope died. As you can imagine, it brings up so many questions in my heart that I keep pondering what the truth of those miracle experiences display and why we didn't get that same miracle for our Hope. I think this article comes closest to answering my questions. God is able, but even if He doesn't, He is still good. It reminds me of the song Even If by Mercy Me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6fA35Ved-Y. I hope the article and the song provide some balm for struggling and grieving souls today.
