Introducing Charla’s books:
Letters to Hope: How One Mom Coped with the Unthinkable
The death of a loved one shatters our world and challenges our faith. In Letters to Hope, Charla Shaffer opens a window to her heart as she grieves the loss of her fifteen-year-old daughter Hope. With gentle empathy and raw honesty, Charla addresses the seemingly endless questions that bombard our minds:
Where is God when my heart is breaking?
How do I walk out the grieving process in a healthy way?
Is it possible to learn to allow grief and joy to coexist in my life?
Think of your loved one as you read these heart-warming letters from a mother to her child. Laugh and cry as you identify with the comforting signs and miracles God is bringing this family through their healing journey. Finally, engage in the suggested activities—bring your pain and questions to God as you process your deep, never-ending love for the special person you miss, and find a measure of healing for your soul.
My Grief Journal
Grief is a journey no one chooses; yet it is a path many journey through. Whether your loss is a person or an experience, sometimes in the midst of pain, finding words for what your heart is carrying can be difficult.
This guided grief journal from Irresistible Hope Ministries provides a safe and compassionate space to process your thoughts, emotions, memories, questions, and hopes. Through thirty thoughtful journal prompts, you will be encouraged to explore your grief at your own pace and in your own unique way.
As you write, may you discover that even in life's darkest seasons, hope can still be found. May this journal help you honor your loss, acknowledge your emotions, cherish precious memories, and take gentle steps toward healing.
You do not have to have all the answers. You only need the courage to begin.
A place to reflect. A place to remember. A place to find hope.
